Course 1: Introduction to Electrical Safety and Tools

This course provides comprehensive training in electrical safety principles, focusing on hazard prevention, personal protective equipment (PPE), tool selection and usage, and proper inspection and maintenance protocols. Emphasis is placed on aligning with OSHA and NFPA 70E standards while preparing students for safe work in electrical environments.
Course 2 – Electricity Principles – SDBCAMA

Certification Name: Certified Electrical Foundations Technician This course provides foundational skills in electricity theory, AC/DC circuits, components, and multimeter use for future work in residential and commercial systems. Students engage in lab-based simulations and real-world circuit assembly using proper PPE and tools.
Course 3: Basic Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD)

This course introduces students to computer-aided drafting (CAD) systems used to create technical 2D drawings. Students will learn how to set up digital drawings, manipulate geometric elements, apply dimensions and annotations, manage layers, and plot final outputs. Emphasis is placed on using CAD software tools to create professional, accurate drawings for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
Course 4: National Electric Code I

This course introduces students to the National Electrical Code (NEC), emphasizing safe and compliant installation practices. It focuses on wiring design, protection methods, equipment usage, and basic load calculations. Students will learn how to navigate NEC articles and apply code requirements in real-world scenarios, preparing them for entry-level roles in electrical installation and inspection.
